These terms and conditions apply to the Hinode Bento website located at www.hinodebento.com and all associated Websites linked to www.hinodebento.com by Hinode Bento, its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Hinode Bento’s sites around the world (collectively ‘the Site’). Please read these terms and conditions (the ‘Terms and Conditions’) carefully. BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of, and any purchase from, the Hinode Bento Site, and constitute an agreement between you and Hinode Bento. Hinode Bento reserves the right to change or modify any of these Terms and Conditions or any policy or guideline of the Site at any time, and in its sole discretion. Any change or modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the revisions on the site. Your continued use of the site following the posting of its changes or modifications will constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications. Therefore, you should frequently review these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable policies from time-to-time to understand the terms and conditions that apply to your use of the Site. If you do not agree to the amended terms, you must stop using the Site.
We may however, in our sole discretion, choose to not process or to cancel your orders in certain circumstances. This may occur, for example, when the meals or products you wish to order is no longer available, out of coverage for delivery, or in other unforeseen circumstances such as operational outages. We will not charge you in these cases or refund the charges for orders that we do not process or cancel.
To serve you better, we have made some available add-on items on the Website produced or sourced by third party partners which we believe are of good quality, we shall however not be held liable for the quality of or any issues associated with such add-on items produced by third party.
While we endeavour to provide accurate description of the products and/or services offered on the Website and the App, we do not provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, reliability or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on the Website, and the pictures shown are for illustration purpose only.
You acknowledge that such information and materials are provided on ″as is″ and ″if available″ basis, and may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. It is solely your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and usefulness of all information and materials found or offered on the Website generally.
In the event of unavailability of certain ingredients, we will replace with similar ingredients while preserving the quality of the meals without update. While we attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies, we however do not make representation on the same and there is always a risk of contamination. If you are concerned with food allergies, please be aware of the said risk and that we may prepare food and use ingredients that contain nuts, nut oil, dairy, seafood, shellfish and gluten.
We endeavour to ensure and maintain a high quality and hygiene of the meals prepared for you, if however in the unlikely event that you found the meals delivered are not in good condition or contained items that do not belong therein, please do not consume the said meal but to contact us for a refund. We reserve the right to issue such full and partial refunds and any additional compensation in respect of the affected part of the Item, and also in respect of delivery if the whole order was affected, unless we have reasonable cause to believe that the problem was caused after delivery. We may request a photograph or other documentation showing the problem if it is something that can be seen by inspecting the Items. Prior to processing your refund, we may take into account relevant factors including the details of the order, including your account history, what happened on delivery and other information.
Product Availability, Pricing and Payment
Data, including prices, may be inaccurately displayed on our Site due to system or typographical errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur, and we do not honour inaccurate or erroneous prices. If a product’s listed price is lower than its actual price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping the product or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. If the order has been shipped, you agree to either return the product (refer to return and refund policy) or pay the difference between the actual and charged prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. We do not negotiate prices on our products and all our prices are final.
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated. The prices are correct as shown on the Website, and are inclusive of applicable tax and delivery charges unless the delivery address is not within the delivery area or minimum order requirement shall apply. We reserve the right to review the prices from time to time. Payment can be made online payment method only.
We may operate dynamic pricing some of the time, which means that prices of Items and delivery may change while you are browsing. Prices can also change at any time at our discretion of the Partner Suppliers. We reserve the right to charge a Service Fee, which may be subject to change, for the provision of our Services. You will be notified of any applicable Service Fee and taxes prior to purchase on the checkout page on our Application. No changes will affect existing confirmed orders, unless there is an obvious pricing mistake. Nor will changes to prices affect any orders in process and appearing within your shopping card, provided you complete the order within 2 hours of creating the shopping cart.
Orders are considered final as soon as they are placed and modification/cancellation is generally not permitted. That said, we do make exceptions on a case-by-case basis and please inform us as soon before the order is processed, refer to our cancellation or refund policy for more information. In the event of cancellation, we may replace the cost of such order with voucher equivalent to the to be refund amount which can be applied to your next order. We are not liable or responsible for the time of an outside delays in outside payment gateway to charge or refund you or if your bank account/credit card has been used in a fraudulent manner.
You are not permitted to resell or otherwise use the Products for any commercial purposes without the written authorisation by Hinode Bento.
Policy on Ethical Sourcing
At Hinode Bento, we sourced our ingredients through respected suppliers who, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the high quality provided to the consumers.
Information on our Site
At Hinode Bento, we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalogue is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear vary than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, colour and size may vary slightly.
Our objective is to provide you with as much information and detail about your prospective purchase as possible.
On the Site, we provide the measurement of our products based on our manufacturing specifications. Slight tolerances may be accounted for based on finishing during the manufacturing or production.

Hinode Bento, the Hinode Bento logos, and any other product or service name or slogan contained in our Site are copyrights of Humble Crafts Sdn Bhd and its suppliers or licensors, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Hinode Bento or the applicable brand owner. You may not use any metatags or any other “hidden text” rising “Hinode Bento” or any other name, trademark or product or service name of Hinode Bento without our prior written permission. All other brand logo, name, product names and Hinode Bento names or logos mentioned in our Site are the property of their respective owners.
Use of the Site
You are granted a personal, limited, non-sublicensable license to access and use our Site and electronically copy, (except where prohibited without a license) and print to hard copy portions of our Site Materials for your informational, non-commercial and personal use only. Product Reviews and User Content
Our Site includes a product review feature, and includes or may include in the future discussion forums, user generated content, or other areas or services in which you or third parties create, post, or store any content, messages, materials or other items on our Site (‘Interactive Areas’). You are solely responsible for your use of such Interactive Areas and use them at your own risk. Hinode Bento takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any User Content posted, stored or uploaded by you or any third party, or for any loss or damage thereto, nor is MadeHome liable for any mistakes, defamation, slander, libel, omissions, falsehoods, obscenity, pornography or profanity you may encounter.
If you post User Content to our Site, unless we indicate otherwise, you grant MadeHome and its affiliates a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such User Content throughout the world in any media. Modification and Notice
You agree that Hinode Bento may modify these Terms and Conditions and any other policies on our Site at any time and that posting the modified Terms and Conditions or policies on our Site will constitute sufficient notice of such modification.
Notwithstanding any of these Terms and Conditions, Hinode Bento reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your license to use this site, and to block or prevent your future access to and use of the Site.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Please refer to our delivery information page for the delivery area covered and we may engage third party service provider to ensure delivery of the order within the time slot selected. Whilst we aim to ensure the service level of such third party service provider, we are not able to warrant their conduct or behaviour and shall not be held responsible for any omissions or misconduct caused by such third party service provider.
Your order will be delivered at the time slot selected and we endeavour to meet the said delivery time slot however it may be occasionally delayed due to traffic flow, weather conditions, unforeseen incidences or force major event, and we shall not be held liable for failure to deliver.
Majority of our products are to be stored appropriately or consume immediately after delivery is made, such as to store in the cooler or any conditions stated or written on the products, we will not held any responsible for any circumstances of defected products due to the negligence of the customers actions.
The product/food delivery will be arrange to be delivered through 3rd party delivery service providers such as: Grab Delivery, Grab Food, Food Panda, Lalamove, Mr.Speedy and any other licensed delivery service provider. The delivery cost is fixed as per the rates shown as per below 2 categories according to the areas Hinode Bento serviced covered post codes:

If it is in our view that the delivery of your order is likely to be substantially delayed, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery timeframe. If that timeframe is unacceptable to you, you may decline to accept the order and we will, if online payment has been made, refund you the amount of such order to your payment method (credit card or online banking) or gift voucher(s) equivalent to the amount of refund which can be applied to your next order, at your option. The processing of the refund may take up to twenty (20) working days.
You are responsible to be available at the time of delivery and ensure adequate arrangement is made. All risk in the products shall pass to you upon delivery. In any event where we are unable to reach you, we will attempt to contact you at the phone number given and the driver is unable to find a safe location to leave the food and if you are still unreachable, the order shall be deemed delivered and you will be liable for its payment in full as if you had received the order.
We shall not be held responsible for your failure to provide adequate access, information or arrangements for delivery. If we cannot change the delivery address, you have the option to cancel the order, but if order process has started you will be charged the full price for the Item, and if the driver has been despatched you will also be charged for delivery.
To ensure the highest quality of the products served, it is highly recommended that all products are to be stored or kept in appropriate conditions immediately after delivery.

Marketing Choice/Opt Out
Where permitted by applicable law, we want to communicate with you on our marketing initiatives, but only if you want to continue to hear from us.
To opt out of receiving email promotions that we send you: (1) select “unsubscribe” on our subscription status page and enter the requested information or follow the unsubscribe instructions in any of our promotional emails; or (2) write an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. To opt out of telephone promotions, you can tell us when we call you or you can send us a postal request. To opt out of postal mail promotions, please send us a postal request. Opting out of communication with us does not affect our communications with you via telephone or email related to your orders with us or other transactional emails.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your purchase or subscription online at anytime by emailing our customer support or contact us via WhatsApp and and following the instructions in our response. Any product(s) or purchase(s) identified as “Processing” or “Shipped” however cannot be cancelled. The buyer will be responsible for all charges (inclusive of any applicable taxes and other charges) incurred with respect to any product order identified as “Processing” or “Shipped” prior to the cancellation.
We endeavour to ensure and maintain a high quality and hygiene of the products prepared for you, if however in the unlikely event that you found the products delivered are not in good condition, defected or contained items that do not belong therein, please do not consume the said meal but to contact us within 1(one) day upon receiving the product(s) for a refund request. We reserve the right to issue such full and partial refunds and any additional compensation in respect of the affected part of the Item, and also in respect of delivery if the whole order was affected, unless we have reasonable cause to believe that the problem was caused after delivery. We may request a photograph or other documentation showing the problem if it is something that can be seen by inspecting the Items. Prior to processing your refund or account credit, we may take into account relevant factors including the details of the order, including your account history, what happened on delivery and other information. We highly recommend that you select your products carefully prior to making the purchase payment.
Cancellations and refund will not be entertained under circumstances such as:
- Products that are delivered in good conditions, but defected due to not stored or kept appropriately as per instructed such as to store in cooler, freezer by the customers negligence.
• Buyer, where the return is due to his / her change of mind
Online banking purchases, if online payment has been made, refund you the amount of such order to your payment method (online banking) or gift voucher(s) equivalent to the amount of refund which can be applied to your next order, at your option.
Credit card purchases will be refunded as credit to, after deducting the processing fee charged by the third party such as banks, against the credit card used on the original purchase. Please allow up to 20 working days for your refund to be credited. The exact duration for this will vary depending on the bank or credit card provider. Any fees and additional charges by the bank or credit card provider are to be absorbed by the customer.
